Disposal Of Chemical Wastes, Rocky Mountain Arsenal.

Abstract

The Parsons Company was hired to determine the most economical measures that could be taken to reduce the possibility of contamination of underground waters by the various industrial wastes from the arsenal. This report includes a study of the disposal of the chemical by-products from the operations carried on at RMA. There is also an evaluation of all reasonable processes for converting these by-products to saleable materials and a survey of potential markets. The supplement attempts to determine if there is a toxic component in the water that could cause crop damage and to recommend possible corrective action. -BKA
