DBSSG Predictable Real-Time Information Systems Task Group.

Abstract

This report is the result of the study conducted by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Accredited Standards Committee (ASC), X3, Operational Management Committee (OMC), Database Systems Study Group (DBSSG), Predictable Real-Time Information Systems Task Group (PRlSTG). Predictable real-time information systems are systems in which the correctness of a result is dependent on the validity and timeliness of data and of the operations on that data. The report describes a reference model for real-time information systems; but more importantly, the report discusses the recommendations for standardization in the area of real-time information management technology.
