The (In)Complete Compendium of Computational Curiosities: Givens' Rotations.

Abstract

We look at the properties of Givens' rotations computed and performed in floating point arithmetic that conforms to the IEEE 754 standard. We descrihe an algorithm for constructing computationally orthogonal Givens' rotations. (AN)
