Contamination Survey, Section 36, Task 1, Technical Plan. Volume 2.

Abstract

The primary purpose of this investigation of section 36 is to obtain geotechnical and geochemical data that will be used to evaluate remedial actions for contaminant treatment and/or disposal. This data will include determination of: the nature, extent, and source of contamination; source geometry; and source homogeneity. To collect this data, numerous soil borings will be performed and the samples chemically analyzed. Sections of this plan detail information on the following programs: Geotechnical (soil and ground water); Chemical analysis; Quality assurance; Data management; and Safety. -BKA
