Current Issues in the Measurement of Military Aircrew Performance: A Consideration of the Relationship Between Available Metrics and Operational Concerns.

Abstract

This report discusses the primary categories of metrics used by DoD researchers to assess human performance in the aviation domain. In addition to outlining the categories and several representative metrics, various approaches are evaluated on the basis of pre-defined measurement criteria as well as the specific considerations and limitations of the particular testing environment.
