Evaluation of BAUER K-22.0 High Pressure Breathing Air Compressor.

Abstract

In response to NAVSEA tasking, Navy Experimental Diving Unit (NEDU) evaluated the BAUER K-22.0 High Pressure Breathing Air Compressor from 17 March to 30 March 1994. The Bauer K-22.0, when operating at 5000 PSI, met Navy diving community requirements making it suitable for recommendation for the Approved for Navy Use list published by NAVSEA OOC, provided cadmium plated fittings are replaced.
