Optical Feature Recognition.

Abstract

Compared with digital image recognition technology optical feature recognition has faster speed and larger capacity for information processing, therefore it lies at the cutting edge of real time recognition technology trends. Here I will summarize the development of optical feature recognition and discuss physical models on Vander Lugt pairwise wave filter and joint interchangeable correlation recognition method, and introduce an optical-electrical real time correlation recognition system which utilizes spatial light modulator.(MM)
