PC SWAT 2.0 (Beta Version): Users Manual,

Abstract

This is a user's manual for the beta version of PC SWAT 2.0. PC SWAT 2.0 is a high frequency sonar performance prediction model of the shallow water and very shallow water environment. Some of the enhancements of PC SWAT are a Windows.style Graphical Users Interface; improved environmental models, usually Applied Physics Labomtory/University of Washington Technical Report 8907 models; the inclusion of up to 3200 multipaths in the computation of surface and bottom reverberation; the ability to simulate real aperture, synthetic aperture, and constant resolution sonars; and the ability to place the target at a fixed depth of either a fixed bearing relative to the sonar or a fixed cross range (off axis) displacement relative to the sonar.
