A Systems Engineering Capability Maturity Model, Version 1.0.

Abstract

The Systems Engineering Capability Maturity Model (SE-CMM) describes the essential elements of an organization's systems engineering process that must exist to ensure good systems engineering. It does not specify a particular process of sequence. In addition, the SE-OMM provides a reference for comparing actual systems engineering practices against these essential elements. The SE-CMM Model Description provides an overall description of the principles and architecture upon which the SE-CMM is based, an executive overview of the model, suggestions for appropriate use of the model, the practices included in the model, and a description of the attributes of the model. It also includes the requirements used to develop the model.
