Abstract

In this final report we set out all the methods that have been used, and all the results that have been obtained, on this contract, in order that the report should be completely self-contained. We deal first with the theoretical background of the linear free energy relationships that we use to analyze the results, and then we discuss the various areas of work with which we have been concerned.
