Abstract

A National Wetlands Engineering Workshop was held in St. Louis, MO. on 3-5 August 1993. The purpose of the workshop was to provide a forum for an exchange of information on engineering techniques for wetlands restoration/enhancement projects. Over 50 papers were presented by engineers and scientists from the Federal government, private consulting firms, and academia and are contained in the proceedings. All papers presented at the workshop are published in this report. Breakout sessions dedicated to obtaining input from workshop participants on the content of a Wetlands Engineering Handbook were also held. Summaries of these sessions are also included in the proceedings report.
