Space Probe Data Processing.

Abstract

This report discusses the design, development, modification and implementation of telemetry data processing techniques and computational routines for processing large volumes of data telemetered from space probes. The original design of the Orbital Data Processing System (ODPS) supported the Combined Release and Radiation Effects Satellite (CRRES) Program. The ODPS was modified to support the Advanced Photovoltaic and Electronics Experiment (APEX) Satellite. The ODPS was again modified to support the Miniature Sensor Technology Integration (MSTI) Satellite Program. The APEX ODPS and the MSTI ODPS were used successfully during the period of this effort. The Telemetry Data Processing System (TDPS) was substantially upgraded during the period of this effort.
