Abstract
Enclosed is the program issue of the Congress on Cell and Tissue Culture, 1994 Meeting of the Society for In Vitro Biology, formerly Tissue Culture Association The theme of the Congress was 'Regulation of Cell and Tissue Differentiation'. An exciting plenary session kicked things off strongly; the speakers included Drs. E. Gateff, C. Lincoln, N.J. Bissell, and J. McLachlan. Each of the Society's for sections organized a series of sessions in their own area (Plant, Vertebrate, and Invertebrate and Toxicology). Another highlight was the Joint Symposium (Vertebrate and Toxicology), "Blood Brain Barrier Research during which some fascinating new culture technologies were described.
