New Generation of Space Batteries--GaAs Solar Cells.

Abstract

This paper describes a new generation of space power sources--GaAs solar cells--and the status of their development inside China and abroad. In conjunction with this, on the basis of unique properties associated with GaAs solar cells, it points out the direction of development, clarifies the value of key space applications, and, finally, forecasts the application prospects for GaAs solar cells. jg
