Sanitary Sewer, Interim Response Action, Draft Final Risk Assessment. Version 2.1.

Abstract

The purpose of the Sanitary Sewer Interim Response Action Risk Assessment is to quantitatively characterize potential risks to off-post human populations and to on-post ecological receptors resulting from the implementation of the IRA. It has been concluded that (1) there are no health risks to off-post populations and (2) Biota will not be adversely affected. The risk assessment is divided into the following sections: (1) Site description and history; (2) Interim action technology - brief description of the IRA; (3) Contaminants of concern; (4) Human health risk assessment - exposure assessment, toxicity assessment, risk characterization, uncertainty considerations; (5) Ecological risk assessment - species distribution, exposure assessment, toxicity assessment, risk characterization; (6) Social impacts - noise, odor, visual.
