Gas Turbine Comparisons Using The Energy Methods,

Abstract

Using the energetic methods of the Second Law of Thermodynamics several gas turbine configurations are compared and evaluated. In all cases the primary loss of energy is associated with the combustion process and the exhaust stream. The use of a regenerator reduces the overall energy dissipation.
