Archeological Testing of 14 Historic Sites Fort Chaffee Military Garrison Sebastian County, Arkansas.

Abstract

Between May and November 1994, Mid-Continental Research Associates of Lowell, Arkansas conducted archeological testing at 14(13 historic and one prehistoric) archeological sites at Fort Chaffee, Sebastian County, Arkansas. The work was performed for the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District and the Fort Chaffee Garrison. The work was designed to determine the eligibility status of the sites for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places. (AN)
