The Joint US/UK EPOCH World Magnetic Model 1995.

Abstract

This report contains a detailed summary of the data used, analyses performed, modeling techniques employed, and results obtained during the course of the 1995 Epoch World Magnetic Modeling effort. This report also contains the GEOMAG algorithm and describes its uses and limitations. Charts derived from the WMM-95 model and the GEOMAG algorithm for both the Main geomagnetic field components and their Secular Variations are presented on Mercator and polar stereographic projections. Additionally, the numerical values of the Main geomagnetic field components and their Secular Variations are tabulated on a 5-degree worldwide grid. (AN)
