Site Inspection Quality Control Plan, Bennett Army National Guard Facility Bennett, Colorado.

Abstract

This Quality Control Plan (QCP) has been developed to support the Site Inspection (SI) at the Bennett Army National Guard Facility (BANGF). The Quality Assurance (QA) Program will ensure that the quality of the data collected during the project is sufficient to support the objectives of the SI. The BANG F, which is a former Titan I missile complex, was recommended for closure under the Base Closure and Realignment Act in 1989. The closure and transfer of this federal facility is subject to the requirements of Section 120 (h) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Recovery Act (CERCLA). This section requires the evaluation and remediation of hazardous substances which pose a threat to human health or the environment prior to the property transfer.
