Archaeological Survey of the Class II Sanitary Landfill Access Road Alignment, Holston Army Ammunition Plant, Kingsport, Hawkins County, Tennessee.

Abstract

This report presents the results of archaeological deep testing conducted through the excavation and recording of backhoe test trenches for a portion of the Class II Sanitary Landfill Access Road Alignment at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant. One archaeological site, designated 4OHW68, and one isolated find were discovered during this survey. Neither of these resources were determined eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places.
