The Impact of Offensive Economic Warfare on the Operational Commander.

Abstract

Economic warfare has been practiced for centuries yet never really studied in depth. As economic well being becomes more critical to global national interests it is expected that aggressive economic actions could more easily escalate into armed conflict. It is critical that the operational commander understands the theory of economic warfare as both an enforcer of government policy and as a practitioner. (AN)
