Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Research - AIDS.

Abstract

A comprehensive MIV Research Program continued into its seventh year of scientific endeavors through a Cooperative Agreement between the United States Army Medical Research and Materiel Command and the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine. The primary mission of the program remains constant: to reduce and prevent HIV-infection among military medical beneficiaries. Five structural Program Areas produce the science to achieve this mission: Preventive Vacdnes, Behavioral Prevention, MIV Disease Prevention, Immunoregulation and Intervention Assessment. Selected significant results and accomplishments during the reporting period 1 October 1993 through 30 September 1994.
