An Intensive Cultural Resource Survey of the Coosa River Annex, Talladega County, Alabama.

Abstract

This report presents the results of a cultural resources survey of 2,834 acres of the Coosa River Annex in Talladega County, Alabama. Thirty archaeological sites, 28 isolated finds, 123 ammunition storage buildings, and three historic cemeteries were identified as a result of this survey. None of these resources are considered to be eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places. (AN)
