Inhibiting Corrosion in Gr/Al and Gr/Mg Metal Matrix Composites Using Nonequilibrium Alloying Techniques.
Abstract
Metal matrix composites (MMCs) have been heavily studied over the past thirty years. During that period, many proposals have been made to develop a matrix alloy that was compatible with the reinforcing phase. However, for one reason or another, the technology has continued to focus on conventional alloys and fabrication practices.
