Proceedings of the Workshop on Inherent Nonsteadiness in Compressors and Turbines Held in West Lafayette, Indiana on 4-6 October 1993.

Abstract

In the development of turbomachinery, particularly the high speed compressors and turbines, research should include in the forthcoming years the potentially promising area of inherent unsteadiness. This field is often considered to be beneficial only in the long term, and risky in its outcome.
