Russia's New Security Services. An Assessment.

Abstract

This study examines the evolution of the Russian security services since the KGB was disbanded in 1991 and assessed the extent of the influence of these new services on domestic and foreign policy. The conclusions are based on a detailed study of the Russia media, as well as on interviews an Western analyses. (AN)
