Digital Image Database with Gold Standard and Performance Metrics for Mammographic Image Analysis Research.

Abstract

An infrastructure resource is being created for use by researchers working on computerized image analysis algorithms to aid in mammogram screening. The resource will contain 3,000 cases of data. Each case will consist of 4 images plus associated data. The resource will be available to the research community over the internet and on tapes sent through the mail.
