Diffractive Optical Elements Used in Infrared Systems.

Abstract

Diffractive optical elements may improve the performance of infrared optical systems. Using standard integrated circuit technology, a method of manufacturing high quality diffractive optical elements has been researched. Because elements are produced using computers, it is possible to achieve arbitrary phase contours.
