Victim and Witness Assistance Procedures.

Abstract

This Instruction (1) Implements policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures under reference (a) to provide assistance to victims and witnesses of crimes committed in violation of reference (b); (2) implements references (c) through (i) by providing guidance for assisting victims and witnesses of crime from initial contact through investigation, prosecution, and confinement; and (3) establishes the 'Victim and Witness Assistance Council.' (KAR)
