Mini-Symposium Proceedings: Distributed Interactive Simulation.

Abstract

These proceedings record the results of a mini-symposium held on 28 September - 1 October 1992. The mini-symposium allowed participants in Military Operations Research (MOR) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) technology to meet and exchange views on ways in which developing DIS technology can influence future MOR. Mini-symposium participants were enthusiastic about the potential of DIS while remaining both cautious about its limitations.
