A Data Screening Technique for AFDAS.

Abstract

This report presents the details of a technique which was adapted to correlate two individual Aircraft Fatigue Data Analysis System (AFDAS) data channels, or other data presented as range mean pairs, as a method of data screening or validation. Although the technique is here-in demonstrated by using operational RAAF F/A-18 AFDAS data, the approach is not aircraft type dependent, and is intended for general AFDAS (or any range mean pair) data screening purposes. A PC based program developed to implement the screening process is also described. (MM)
