Anchoring U.S. Competitiveness: Revisiting the Economic Rationale for Technology Policy.

Abstract

This paper explores the recent Clinton administration technology policy and makes observations and recommendations regarding areas of apparent success and failure. The authors apply their collective knowledge of the administration's ongoing efforts to draw conclusions about the appropriate role of government in stimulating economic benefits through technology investments.
