Rendezvous Between Two Spacecrafts with Coplanar Elliptic Orbits using Horizontal Impulse,

Abstract

This article studies the problems of fixed time rendezvous between two spacecraft in general coplanar elliptical orbit under the effects of three horizontal impulses. Necessary conditions for completing rendezvous are derived, and methods are given for calculating the magnitudes of the three horizontal impulses as well as their times of application.
