Fabrication of a Kevlar Liner Assembly.

Abstract

Several liner assemblies were fabricated with Kevlar 49 and epoxy using various wet layup and prepreg processes. A production process, using prepreg material, was developed for fabricating the liner and a wet layup molding process was used to fabricate the Kevlar hat-shaped tunnels.
