Abstract

To investigate the fingerprint removing properties of various alcohols and other organic solvents (representative of Type B, U.S. Army Tentative Specification AXS 1719). To study the effect of adding inhibitors or wetting agents to alcohol water mixtures used for fingerprint removal. To compare the speed of removal of various alcohol-water mixtures and alkylolamine soap formulations. (The latter are representative of Type A, U.S. Army Tentative Specification AXS-1719). jg p. 3
