New Technology, War and International Law.

Abstract

Report analyzes relationship between war in the post-Cold War era, emerging non-lethal and discriminate weapons technologies and tenets of the international law of armed conflict (Laws of War). Report provides insights on applicability of international law to employment of new technology weapons, their implications and considerations relevent to civilian and military decision makers.
