Investigation of Wetlands Hydraulic and Hydrological Processes, Model Development, and Application.

Abstract

Researchers have found that hydrology and the dynamic nature of water flowing through wetlands affects the vegetation (composition, structure, and diversity), influences its primary productivity, controls its organic accumulation, and drives its nutrient cycling (Gosselink and Turner 1978).
