Combat Service Support: U.S. Army Battle Dynamic Concept.

Abstract

This concept serves as the basis for developing doctrine, leader development, organizations, and materiel changes focused on soldiers (DTLOMS) requirements and solutions for logistical operations in Support of a power projection Army. Under this concept, logistics capabilities are projected to meet mission requirements over the full range of the operational continuum. This concept links the strategic to the operational level of logistics, which provides logistical power at the tactical level in the form of arming, fueling, fixing, moving, and sustaining the soldier. This concept applies to all TRADOC activities which develop DTLOMS requirements and products. The proponent of this pamphlet is the Deputy Chief of Staff for Combat Developments.
