A Job Aid: Incorporating Continuous Operations Considerations in Unit Design.

Abstract

This document provides guidance to unit designers for the development of Army units with enhanced continuous operations (CONOPS) capability. It complies with key policy and guidance from the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Department of the Army, and USA mADOC publications. It is organized to answer three questions: (1) why consider CONOPS during unit design; (2) how is CONOPS capability provided in unit design; and, (3) how are shortcomings in unit CONOPS capability identified? In addition, this job aid is designed to fill some of the gaps existing in current regulations and guidance concerning the incorporation of CONOPS into unit design.
