Results of an Intensive Cultural Resource Inventory in the Boyer Bend Area, Brule County, South Dakota.

Abstract

This report documents a cultural resource survey of approximately 1,132 acres of Corps land in the Boyer Bend Area on Lake FranciS Case in Brule County, South Dakota, which was conducted from August 10 through August 13, 1995. Two previously unrecorded archaeological sites were located. Site 39BR48 is a small scatter of lithics. Site 39BR49 consists of the remains of the L. Somers homestead. Neither site is believed to be eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic places. (MM)
