Abstract

The contingency plan (CP) is designed to: (1) minimize hazards to human health and the environment from fires, explosions, or any unplanned release of hazardous substances. (2) Provide the procedures for appropriate emergency release notification. Volume 1: contains the contingency plan which includes discussions of: (1) incident discovery and reporting; installation response team activation; responsibilities of the installation response team; verbal notification of off-post groups; required written reports and recordkeeping; emergency equipment; evacuations. Volume 2: contains the chemical accident/incident response plan and the installation spill contingency plan. jg p.2
