Zebra Mussel Research. Introduction and Spread of Dreissena polymorpha in the U.S. Inland Waterway System, 1992-1993.

Abstract

The purpose of this technical note is to analyze population structure (as indicated by density and size demography) of recently established zebra mussel populations in the U.S. inland waterway system. Samples were collected between late 1992 and early 1994. Most collections were within 12 months of the first zebra mussel sightings.
