A Novel GaAs- Based IR Detector - Phase 1.

Abstract

Under Contract to the U.S. Army ARDEC, Arthur D. Little, Inc. undertook a two phased program to first design, fabricate, and characterize a single element, GaAs based, quantum well infrared detector to operate at 10 micrometers and, later, to implement a 2 by 2 focal plane array prototype. This is the final report for the first phase of this program, the object of which is to fabricate and evaluate demonstrate a single element detector. jg p10
