Abstract

The objectives of the program were as follows: (1) Development of an improved adhesive for 589K (600 deg F) application by chemical and/or physical modification of NASA's LARC-13 resin; (2) Optimization of the adhesive film and bonding processes; and (3) Identification of compatible surface treatments for titanium and composite substrates.
