Study of Relationships Between Processing Variables and Properties In Thermoplastic Injection Molded Parts. Selection of Specimen and Process Variables, Mold Design, Instrumentation and Molding Procedure.

Abstract

The objective is to investigate the relationship between injection molding process variables and the physical and mechanical properties of thermoplastic material in injection molded plastic parts. This will be accomplished by developing the techniques, adapting instrumentation and assessing changes in material characteristics. (MM)
