A Short Analysis of the Effects of System Thermal Noise on Angle-of-Arrival Enhanced Range Profiles.

Abstract

This report documents an effort to modify the effects of thermal noise error on a novel automatic target recognition technique applicable to airborne radar targets. The method uses the information about the target's cross-range structure that is statistically encoded in the radar tracking data and is potentially applicable to many existing radar missile systems.
