Abstract

A NASA Space Shuttle Technology Conference was held in San Antonio, Texas, April 12-14, 1972, in conjunction with the AIAA/ASME/SAE 13th Structures, Structural Dynamics and Materials Conference. The space shuttle conference reported the results to date by NASA and its contractors on the technology in the areas of (1) Aeroelasticity and Loads, (2) Structure/Liquid Interactions, (3) Vehicle Dynamic Test and Analysis, (4) Thermal Protection Systems, and (5) Structural Design. This publication is a compilation of the conference papers presented.
