Traction Data Analysis Part 1: Perfluoropolyalkylether Fluids.

Abstract

Traction behavior of several Perfluoropolyalkylether (PFPAE) fluids is investigated. Experimental traction data obtained with conventional rolling-disk apparatus are correlated to a Newtonian pressure-viscosity-temperature relation. Appropriate rheological constants are estimated, as a function of inlet temperature and rolling speed, from regression analysis of experimental data.
