System, Performance, and Applicability Assessment of a High-Performance Computer System.

Abstract

The objective of this effort was to perform an evaluation of the first-generation RL/IRAA VHSIC speech multiprocessor. In particular, the shortcomings of the system were highlighted so that modifications could be made to the second-generation VHSIC speech multiprocessor. A detailed comparison of CPUs was made for use in the second-generation processor, and a specific choice was justified.
