Abstract

This paper summarizes information provided by General (Retired) Arthur E. Brown, Jr. during interviews conducted by Colonel Rodger D. Knox in February and March 1996 as part of the U.S. War College/U.S. Army Military History Institute Senior Officer Oral History Program. The summary consists of a general outline of General Brown's personal history covering significant activities and events of his career and life from birth in 1929 to his retirement activities. Included is a list of questions prepared for the interview and General Brown's service resume.
